Friends, Time and mom's.

So I had a moment of insanity yesterday when I was a little sensitive about seeing my longest friend, whom I hadn't seen in such a long time. We worked it out, it had been since December. Disgusting. I really need to put in more effort. We both do, but it was absolutely fantabulous! We giggled and gossiped and caught up with each others lives as if we had seen each other last week.You really have to treasure a friendship like that!
Besides, any friendship is strengthened by sharing Warm Chocolate Parcels. Even though I was ready to burst, I strangely managed to find space for these delicious, orgasmic parcels.

I couldn't believe how fast time had flown by. Days blur into weeks, weeks blur into months and before you know it we're all screaming "Happy New Year!!"In fact, didn't we just celebrate Christmas?

Anyhoo...it's another grown-up weekend. I have a bridal shower tomorrow and I am actually looking forward to it.
It's also Mother's Day on Sunday and I'd like to have my mom over so that I can show her how great my cooking skills have come along. Look, it won't be awfully fancy but it will be rather special!!
