I now know I will never ever be able to do natural child birth.
I also am not quite sure if I should have kids because I am the clumsiest person I know.
This morning I made my necessity called tea, got two headache tablets from my small hangover and started going back upstairs, when my comfortable fluffy slip on slippers made me trip UP my stairs.
The tea went flying and so did I.
My right big toe is broken.
Ok, it's not. But it should be for the amount of pain I'm in.
It's severly sprained.
If I can't handle a sprained toe, there is not a chance in hell that I am doing natural birth.
You can F right off!
How can one silly digit affect so many things? I can't walk on it properly so I look like an idiot, I can't put my beautiful heels on and have to squash them into my ballet pumps. Squashing = pain. It hurts when I drive and need to accelerate or take my foot off the accelerator.
I'm not a happy chappy today :-(

Aw dude that sucks :(
Though I am sure that the joy of having your own child is worth the pain of childbirth.
Apparently you're so happy to see your child that you don't feel anything afterwards.
Ye I know, total pile of bull isn't it?
So sorry about the toe! :(
I so know what you mean about knowing that your not going to be able to handle the pain of childbirth. I'm like knock me out and cut them I, I want nothing to do with the horrid painfull gross puching part. My Bf calls me "too posh to push"!!!
I'm sorry about your toe! Ouch!
I've been struggling with the idea of natural birth. It doesn't sound very pleasant, but they have ... good drugs to help you through it all.
There are always Sim kids! LOL
LOL I've also tripped on the steps because of slippers before. It sucks, you can do natural and they maybe cut a slit here or there in the vagina to get the thing out, then stitch you up, andddd you maybe affect your bladder's wee holding ability, orrrrrr you get a Caesarian and your muscles are cut into and you have a scar. Boooooo. It's a predicament, I'm scared!
EINA! That sucks Blondie!
Ive had the unfortunate experience of falling UP stairs, at college when I was still studying. It was a busy stairwell, and I was on my own. It was so embarrassing, but all I could do was laugh. It was funny. However, I didnt injure myself, so I could laugh....Shame hun, hope the pain gets better and you can walk/drive again properly soon!
As for childbirth...yikes. Ive had something that the doctor called a "Phantom Birth". Its basically when your uteris goes into contractions, as if it were in labour. I have never felt pain like that in my life before, and now Im scared shitless for childbirth. Plus, Ive had that "phantom birth" thing 3 times in my life...I think there's something wrong with me?
Happy snapper - Wow that is unreal about the phantom birth thing...but look at it this way at least your prepared and know what to expect, all the rest of us are going in blind, unsure of how bad it is going to be for us or how painful it is going to be.
Or maybe it is your body telling you it seriously wants to have loads of children - LOL
Ha ha ha! I really hope its NOT my body saying that it wants children now! Dont think I would be able to handle that :)
But yeah, it was quite serious. Thankfully, I havent had it in about 2 years, so Im hoping that it wont happen again (holding thumbs). Not cool though. Im definately gonna ask for every painkiller known to man when its time for the "real birth". ha ha!
lemme tell you that a broken toe and childbirth are not classified in the same pain category... a broken toe is almost worse than childbirth, i've broken one before.
let nobody lie to you childbirth is the shits... nothing like it but you truly do forget, which is just strange if you ask me... but true :) an epidural is just what the doctor ordered :)
I'm with Sweets - bring on the drugs baby! These days it doesn't have to be a monstrously painful experience, you can practically get 100% high while you pop out the sprog, and that's got to count for something! And anyway, I've broken my big toe before, and I really think it rates up there.... goddam it hurts!
you're a bigger clutz than me!
Total bull shit, Miss M...but hey, one (long) day we can swop notes! Haha!
That's FABULOUS!!! Too Posh to push!! That is classic! Can I adopt that phrase?
Agreed...there are drugs created to be taken...SERIOUSLY!!!
Chronicles...too funny! Sim kids are brilliant and they grow so quickly...no bullshit!! Hahahaha!!
Agreed...the drugs are there to be taken!! Thank God!
Anonymous...you have absolutely petrified me!
That's it. I'm adopting. Madonna and Angelina did it, so can I!
Happy Snapper...that IS weird...phantom births? I thought that was where someone thought they were pregnant and started getting all the same symptoms from the no periods and expanded belly.
YIKES!!
Thanks for making me feel better that I'm not alone in the tripping UP stairs phenomenon! x
Midnite gem...I agree...Happy Snapper is a "little lucky" to at least have a "heads up" as to what the pain will be like (excuse the pun)
Still...I don't care. GIMME DRUGS!!!!
Oh dear Sweets, so maybe I would be able to handle it?
Nope. Not sold on the idea. I wanna be so high I think I'm giving birth to pretty rainbows and butterflies!!
Hahahaha!!!
I think those are very similar, but I didnt have all those symptoms, and I never thought I was pregnant. It only lasted for a few hours (until I pumped the prescribed drugs into my body like crazy) and then it would stop. I think those full blown phantoms are called phantom pregnancies. I just had the uteris contractions. Painfully, painful. Im with you Blondie...GIVE ME THE DRUGS!! :)
Lopz...I totally want to be as high as a kite...maybe a satellite!! Like I said before...I wanna be so high I give birth to rainbows, butterflies and all pretty lovely things that DON'T hurt and scream and eat nipples off! Lovely!
I am Ruby...I know I am more clumsy than most people in the world!!
